In our modern age, there is an attack on masculinity, but sadly men have contributed to this negative perspective and have neglected their God-given roles. In this book, Vance takes you on a biblical journey to revitalize the story of man and reacquaint us, as men, with our calling in the world. To do this, you will first look at the narratives of the wilderness surrounding various men called by God. Then you will see how God shapes men for His coming kingdom under the second Adam, Jesus. Lastly, we will discuss the roles of Christian men today in light of what we have learned. This study should correct the culture of men within our churches, buttress the faithful actions of godly men among our ranks, and educate and equip our sons for manly service in God’s kingdom.
