Kenya: Update about Bible School

Greetings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ trusting in Him that you are fine and family not forgetting friends in the USA whose prayers and support together for the work of God here in Kenya cant go unmentioned or seen but it is evident.

Thank you for the prayers and the questions that you send to us we have given the students and for sure it is a good theology and through that the students have begun to see great changes of perception than before for they didn't understand what it meant  by theology and Christian living as well as discipleship. We are  basing on biblical Christianity which of course has done much in that many students have strictly changed after being challenged all around their lives. And in this regard the effect has reached even the community around.  each student is even able to reach out and win one or two people to Christ and disciple them as well.

Loving Tribute To Our Friend Robert

Robert was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Perry Hall, Maryland. Although he had a difficult life and battled with drug addiction he was saved by the grace of God (Romans 8:29-30) For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Robert committed his life to kill sin or as he once said committed his life to the mortification of sin. He loved puritan books and the study of the Word of God. He volunteered his time helping addicts and united in The Hope Movement to share the Gospel in Baltimore City, helping us transform vacant lots on North Avenue into community gardens and a place to feed the hungry, provide clothing while at the same time preaching the full Gospel and praying for those in the community.

Robert often shared his testimony and always gave all the glory to God alone.

On January 27, 2018 Robert passed away. God knows the heart of every true believer and even knows their struggles. God is sovereign and knows the date of our birth and our death and is working all things for His glory and our good.

Guatemala: Our Work in December 2017

Although 2017 brought unexpected changes in our projects in Guatemala, we understand God is sovereign over all things and is working all things for His glory and our good. Our other 3 feeding centers continued serving those in need and teaching the Bible providing thousands of meals. We were also by the grace of God able to help another wonderful project in Chiquimula, Guatemala who are serving the poor living and working in the trash dump.

In 2018 we pray we have the finances to continue our work in Guatemala and expand it. We are also planning a mission to Guatemala to teach theology and evaluate current and potential projects.

Please consider giving a donation to help the work of God in Guatemala.

In December we were able to continue to provide for the school tuition and supplies for our 120 orphans. Along with that we had a wonderful celebration of Jesus as we all came together to eat and fellowship.

A number of men and women were also able to attend a conference to learn more about Biblical truth which they will in turn then teach in their local churches.

God is doing a great work in Kenya and He deserves all of the glory.

Please get involved by giving a donation so we can continue this important work in Kenya by giving online or by mail.

It Will Cost You Everything

You need to weigh in on the cost factor.

And count the costs of being a disciple of Jesus Christ.

It will cost you popularity, it will cost you promotion perhaps at times. It will cost you an easy life. You will have to discipline yourself, you will have to buffet your body. You will have to say “No” to temptation, and you will have to say “No” to this world.

You will have to break with the crowd. You will have to be willing to stand alone for Christ. You will have to be willing to walk to the beat of a different drummer. And to step out of the crowd even if no one follows after Jesus Christ.

You would be willing to stand if you were the only person in the world for Jesus Christ. That’s the cost factor. You will have to be willing to suffer persecution for Christ, and let me tell you, it will come. It might even cost you your life.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ

I am a part of the fellowship of the unashamed.

The die has been cast, I’ve stepped over the line; the decision has been made;

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.

I will not look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still.

My past is redeemed; my present makes sense; my future is secure.

I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits or popularity.

I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded.

I now live by faith, love by patience, live by prayer, and labor by power.

Help Orphans In Kenya

The Hope Movement is caring for 120 orphans and widows in Kenya. It also costs $1,000 monthly to provide scholarships to attend school, school supplies, and food during the year for all 120 orphans.

The Hope Movement needs your help to raise urgently the funds needed to feed our orphans which is $11,160 to cover the monthly expenses for 2018.

Please give the best gift of all, the gift of life to these precious children in Kenya. Make a tax-deductible donation online TODAY!

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. (Philippians 2:12-13)

What is the process of spiritual growth—sanctification? Paul speaks to this congregation and challenges them to work out their salvation with fear and trembling. Now it must be noticed that Paul does not say to “work for” your salvation but to “work out” your salvation. Scripture everywhere teaches that we are saved not by our works but by grace through faith in Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Bring Hope To Orphans In Kenya

Dear Brothers and Sisters In Christ Jesus,

May God be glorified through all that we do, let it be God who receives the praise for He is worthy, for it is only through Him and by Him that we have been saved and called to work on His behalf to preach the Gospel and help those in need.

We write you today to share what God is doing through The Hope Movement, a Christian 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation. We hope you will take a moment to get to know us, our love for Christ, our love for others and the work we do throughout the world.

There is so much need and we have so much opportunity to meet that need, but we need people like you to stand beside us through prayer and giving to help bring souls to Christ, help the poor, care for the orphan and widow while God is glorified through our acts of love.

Please take some time to learn more about us and please prayerfully consider giving a donation of any amount to one of our many life-changing projects.

Soli Deo Gloria (Glory To God Alone)

Grace and peace,

Pastor Conrad Mbewe was one of the pastor's who preached during this conference and he is considered the Charles Spurgeon of Africa.

This conference was to provide sound doctrine in a place that has been consumed by false teachings and give a solid Biblical foundation to go a take the knowledge gained to preach the Gospel and revive churches bring them back to the sufficient Scriptures and sovereignty of God.

Below is the testimony of our team who attended this conference, Soli Deo Gloria (To God Be The Gloria Alone)
