Thanks to the generosity of our precious donors we have been able to increase our monthly giving to The Hope Movement - Kenya orphans from $520 a month to $983 a month providing scholarships for Deborah Murunga so that she study in college to be a teacher, KERREN Nafula, Sofia Nekesa, Hillkia Walekhwa, Faith Neema who are studying in High School along with covering the tuitions for 115 orphans who are in primary school including their food and school supplies. We are also purchasing Bibles in Swahili for those without a Bible.
Each week over people are learning Theology through a program we developed and Pastor Frederick and the team have been doing an amazing job in teaching the Gospel and caring for these precious children.
Please continue to support this project. There are many more orphaned children in need of help but we can't do it without your financial support.
Soli Deo Gloria (To God be the Glory)
Missions is an Impossibility apart from the Power of God. All men of every culture are born radically depraved, at enmity with God, and restraining the truth. The conversion of a man and the advancement of missions are an absolute impossibility apart from the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit in the regeneration of the individual and the life of the church. Many church growth strategies and mission methodologies often overlook this essential truth.
We need compassionate people who care about Baltimore and want to see a transformation to come out this weekend to volunteer some of their time. Churches from as far as New Castle, PA are coming to evangelise in Baltimore and need all Christians in the area to unite with us to preach the Gospel and help those in need.
Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations, but are we even making disciples in our neighborhoods? We need churches to unite as The Hope Movement to pray with people, preach the Gospel, lead Bible studies, counsel, feed the hungry, share love with the community, and continue the work in transforming a vacant lot at 2324 E. North Ave. Baltimore, MD 21213 into a Haven of Hope Community Garden (As seen on WBAL TV).
These shirts are original designs of The Hope Movement with the purpose to help share the Gospel and make disciples. Image people seeing theology words which many have never heard of with a definition and Bible verse, this is a guarantee to spark conversation. These shirts are beautiful, stylish and unique but most importantly they are a powerful way to evangelize, share the Gospel, teach theology and bring glory to God.
We have been blessed to have a life-long friendship with Dwight Spears who moved to the Philippines to help share the Gospel. His ministry focuses on the Gospel especially in distributing the Word of God to areas where they desperately need Bibles. His passion for souls and the sufficient Word of God has united us and we were honored to able to purchase a case of Bibles which are being shipped to the Philippines. We hope to continue to collect Bibles and send them on an on-going basis and look forward to see how God uses our friendship for His glory.
Check out the work of The Hope Movement in May around the world for the glory of God (Soli Deo Gloria). In May The Hope Movement was able to provide hundreds of meals, provide scholarships to 30 orphans in Kenya, purchase Bibles in Kenya and Philippines.
58 million primary-school-age children are not enrolled in school; 53 percent of these are girls. These children are at greater risk for exploitation, early marriage, and lower income-earning potential. We address barriers to education and work with communities and local governments to improve the quality of education children receive.
In many nations, education can be costly; we cover school fees and purchase uniforms and supplies. As parents, it is essential that we provide quality education to our children. For our children who have been orphaned and live in extreme poverty, education can lift marginalized children out of the cycle of poverty, building their self-esteem, equipping them to support themselves and their future families.
The Hope Movement provides scholarships to children so that they can attend school from primary to college. We also develop education programs in our church-based centers to teach children theology, reading, writing and mathematics and assist them with their school studies.
The Hope Movement produces materials and teaches using a systematic theology approach. “Systematic” refers to something being put into a system. Systematic theology is, therefore, the division of theology into systems that explain its various areas. For example, many books of the Bible give information about the angels. No one book gives all the information about the angels. Systematic theology takes all the information about angels from all the books of the Bible and organizes it into a system called angelology. That is what systematic theology is all about—organizing the teachings of the Bible into categorical systems.
Theology Proper or Paterology is the study of God the Father. Christology is the study of God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Pneumatology is the study of God the Holy Spirit. Bibliology is the study of the Bible. Soteriology is the study of salvation. Ecclesiology is the study of the church. Eschatology is the study of the end times. Angelology is the study of angels. Christian Demonology is the study of demons from a Christian perspective. Christian Anthropology is the study of humanity. Hamartiology is the study of sin. Systematic theology is an important tool in helping us to understand and teach the Bible in an organized manner.
Witness a church that has been revived, that goes with the flow of God's agenda and not the agenda of men, allowing His presence to take control, witness young and old growing in the word of God as their lives and families are changed, witness a church that steps outside of the comfort zone of the four walls to reach those in need, witness communities transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.
The Hope Movement is planting home churches or assisting established traditional churches to return to their roots following the unique design by God. Developing churches with a house church feel, time of edification and reflection giving people a moment to share from their heart and pray with one another, intimate worship that doesn’t follow the typical worship pattern but is rather guided by the presence of God and Biblical teaching to develop unashamed Holy Spirit led disciples who will go into all of the world and preach the gospel and help those in need.
