Robert was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Perry Hall, Maryland. Although he had a difficult life and battled with drug addiction he was saved by the grace of God (Romans 8:29-30) For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
Robert committed his life to kill sin or as he once said committed his life to the mortification of sin. He loved puritan books and the study of the Word of God. He volunteered his time helping addicts and united in The Hope Movement to share the Gospel in Baltimore City, helping us transform vacant lots on North Avenue into community gardens and a place to feed the hungry, provide clothing while at the same time preaching the full Gospel and praying for those in the community.
Robert often shared his testimony and always gave all the glory to God alone.
On January 27, 2018 Robert passed away. God knows the heart of every true believer and even knows their struggles. God is sovereign and knows the date of our birth and our death and is working all things for His glory and our good.
Although 2017 brought unexpected changes in our projects in Guatemala, we understand God is sovereign over all things and is working all things for His glory and our good. Our other 3 feeding centers continued serving those in need and teaching the Bible providing thousands of meals. We were also by the grace of God able to help another wonderful project in Chiquimula, Guatemala who are serving the poor living and working in the trash dump.
In 2018 we pray we have the finances to continue our work in Guatemala and expand it. We are also planning a mission to Guatemala to teach theology and evaluate current and potential projects.
Please consider giving a donation to help the work of God in Guatemala.
In December we were able to continue to provide for the school tuition and supplies for our 120 orphans. Along with that we had a wonderful celebration of Jesus as we all came together to eat and fellowship.
A number of men and women were also able to attend a conference to learn more about Biblical truth which they will in turn then teach in their local churches.
God is doing a great work in Kenya and He deserves all of the glory.
Please get involved by giving a donation so we can continue this important work in Kenya by giving online or by mail.
